Today Jeff got up with the kids and I got to sleep in. Thank you Daddy Jeffrey. We fixed our usual weekend breakfast of pancakes and started the day out right. When Jeff asked the kids what game they would like to play they both pointed to the basement and indicated bowling so I guess the Wii games from yesterday were a hit. Jeff spent a couple of hours in the basement with them playing Wii bowling, tennis and baseball. They were quite enthralled with it all. I went down once to check on them and Jeff was under a blanket looking quite relaxed while Ramona was pitching and Ramon was batting. It looked like a great set up for all involved. Since things were going so well I headed over to my school to get some work done. Jeff and the kids came and brought me lunch. The kids were great at helping with my bulletin boards.
After lunch and a little more work we headed to Rick and Cathy Hawks' house to enjoy their pool. It was a perfect afternoon there with their family and friends. What a thrill for R & R to jump off the diving board and go down the slide plus enjoy ice cream cones. It really was a fabulous afternoon. Thanks Hawks' family. It also helped to wear R & R out so they were tucked in to bed by 9pm which is a record for us. Tomorrow is another day and we're heading to the lake. How much fun can one family take?
