We have been having fun showing Ramon and Ramona off to many of our family and friends. It has been a really great couple of weeks for us. One of our first great adventures was teaching them to lick an ice cream cone at Zestos. We met several teacher friend at Zestos after a fun time at the YMCA park. The kids couldn't lick fast enough to keep the ice cream from dripping but it was sure fun trying. We also received a a surprise package in the mail from our Porter friends. Thanks Kim and John. Today we met Lola (Grandma) Walker's walking group at Arby's for breakfast. Ramon was very impressed with one of the gentlemen's bald head and handlebar mustache. He was trying to figure out a way to put the mustache hair up on his head. Try explaining that when there's a language barrier! We also visited one of our favorite cousins and friends, Lynn and Dan Knee. They delighted R & R with tractor rides and balloons plus playing the piano for a sing-a-long. Ate (Big Sister) Courtney came for a visit today and we went to see the latest Shrek movie at the cheap theater. It was their first theater visit and they were perfect children as they stared at the big screen. Later tonight we are having a picnic with the other visiting Filipino children. What a fun way to end the day.
