We started out our lake day at Lake James with Mom and Bob for lunch. Then we put on the swimming suits and headed a few minutes away to Lake George where Millie and Ron were with their grandkids. The 5 kids did great together. They loved playing on the rafts and just swimming around.
The favorite event of the day was catching frogs in the little streams nearby. Conner and Sidney were great at showing Ramon and Ramona how to use the nets and catch the little critters. This kept them all entertained for hours. Not sure how the frogs felt about it all but the kiddos sure loved it. Thanks Millie and Ron for sharing your cottage and family with us. After dinner at home Daddy Jeffrey put training wheels on a bike and R & R loved riding. They had been trying to ride some of our old bikes all week and we finally decided to add the training wheels so they could enjoy their ride instead of falling off every few seconds. They sure had big smiles as they were whizzing down the sidewalk. Now to teach them how to do handlebar brakes and maybe find some helmets!
