15 months in the USA

We finished up our birthday celebrations with a little surprise family party on Monday night. Monday was Josh's 12th birthday and the day before was Cate's 11th birthday.  The kids had soccer and when we got home from soccer there were about 15 people there waiting to yell surprise to Josh & Cate.  It was fun to have ice cream cake and see family to top off the birthday weekend!

 

 

Cate's 4th grade class put on a play and she was to dress as a pioneer girl.  She wore her Great Grandma Moore's bonnet (that Grandma Carol has saved).  She did a great job with her part.

Josh & Cate have started a new soccer league.  They are playing inside at a local dome facility here close to us.  They are enjoying the experience so far and look to have great soccer potential. 

Josh had his last flag football game.  He really had fun with this sport.  It was a bit nippy out there this past Saturday and you will see below how Cate dealt with the cold. 

 

Since birthdays are over we can now think about Halloween and trick-or-treat season.  First project was carving pumpkins.  Then we had to figure out costumes.  The Chapel had a little Harvest Party we attended where the kids could play games and eat pizza.  Thanks to The Chapel for supporting families!

It's been another good week at the Clark house.   Josh & Cate are doing great as you can see by the faces below.

Thanks for reading the blog and praying for us.  We are having fun and I hope you are too!  Life is about choices and we are honored to serve Jesus and will continue

Birthdays!!!!

The birthday fun started when a package arrived in the mail from Aunt Dawn and Uncle Tim.  Aunt Dawn knows just what these kids love!

Then on Friday the kids were out of school so we had to get some work done.  We needed to stuff goodie bags for Josh & Cate to take to their classmates on Monday so they could share their birthday with the class.

Once the goodie bags were packed we headed to a birthday lunch with Grandma Carol at our favorite barbeque pizza place.

Cate invited 3 girlfriends and we headed to Chuck E. Cheese for a special treat for her!

Josh invited 3 friends (the next day) and we headed to go-carting / putt putting for his special treat.

The next day the partying continued as we headed to Nick & Autumn's house to celebrate with them.  Nick and Cate share a birthday and Josh's is the next day plus Autumn has a birthday in October too so it was a fun celebration for all!

 

 

 

 

The fun just goes on and on when you have Josh & Cate in your life!  Plus we want to live our lives for Jesus and that means we have to continue....
