Day #1 in the Clark household

The kids arrived last night about 9:40pm and it was chaos for a few minutes. Parents running to greet their children and the children looking very confused at times. Our children sort of hung back and looked very sleepy. Ramon let Jeff pick him up right away and he just layed his head on his shoulder.

24 hours of travel was too much. They were shy at first but warmed right up to us. We picked up their luggage and headed out after saying goodbyes.

We stopped at the IHOP for some food in case airplane/airport food wasn't their thing. They ate great. Pancakes and scrambled eggs were snarfed down but the big excitement was the ice cream sundae with the cherry on top. I guess ice cream is an international food.

They weren't too sleepy and very excited when we got to the house. They played with some of their new toys and checked out their rooms. After an hour or so we put on the video Cars and tryed to get them to sleep. We were very tired. They didn't seem so tired at the moment. We got to bed about 2am and they slept until about 6am. Pretty good for newborns I'd say. Today we hope to head to the store for tennis shoes and swimming suits and maybe a few other items. They are dressed and ready to go. Have a good day.

Choosing Joy,

Chris
