October Week 2

This week seemed sort of normal.  Not a lot of big things going on.  The biggest thing was Jeff was gone for 4 days on a discipleship walk and I was home alone with the kiddos.  We all survived I'm happy to say.  Josh had his eye exam this week and I'm happy to report both kids have great vision.  No glasses here...at least for this year.  We also started our family October birthdays with my nephew Matt Walker being first.  Happy Birthday Matt.

The kids are still doing good at getting their homework going.  It's basically practice math facts each night and then read for 20 to 30 minutes with us.  This is our routine and we are finding routine is good with these guys.  During the weekend while Jeff was gone I kept them very busy with activities.  We visited our friends, Josh & Leah (Mom Melissa and Jeremy) for lunch and some trampoline time. It looks like Josh jumped right out of the picture on one shot.  Sorry Josh I chopped off your head.  We are on our last week of soccer and the kids will miss this event.  They always look forward to soccer practices and games.  It's a good sport for them.

We then went to the zoo on Sunday as guests of our friend Lonnie Au. Thanks Lonnie!  We loved our day and the smiles on their faces were so much fun.

Thanks Lonnie so much for that treat. It was a huge blessing to us all.  Again we are reminded of how faithful our friends and family have been in our journey.  They continue to support and bless us.  We are so thankful for the community that surrounds us and most of all as we say at our house...
"Yay Jesus!"

Oh and maybe one or two fun pictures of the new sweet grandson, Nolan.
