It's Official!!!

The biggest news of the week, the year, maybe the century is....we are officially parents of Josh & Cate.  When you adopt from the Philippines you bring the kids home with you as guardians and then you go to court in the US to do the official stuff.  Well they tell you it takes 6 months but everything runs behind (which is common in adoption issues) so we were closer to 11 months.  But the date did arrive.  Our official court appearance was June 8th, 2012 at 1pm.  The judge was very efficient and sweet.  By 1:20 we were dancing out on the street. 

Later that day we had an official adoption party to celebrate with our friends and family that have been with us on this journey.  Praise God from whom all blessings flow!  Check out the fun in the pictures below.

That was the highlight of our week, our month, our year for sure!  Thanks for sharing in the joy with us.  I will include other things we did this week on next week's blog.  I think this is about all the excitement I can give you for 1 week.  "Joy Unspeakable that won't go away!"  That's what we got at our house.  Thanks for sharing in our joy and remember to continue...
